Kelly Gedinsky joined Winick Realty Group LLC in 2007 and in a few short years, she has become one of the industry’s recognized leaders in deal making. Ms. Gedinsky has been assigned to many of the company’s chief leasing projects and has successfully leased well over 600,000 square feet of retail space and counting.
During her time at Winick Realty Group LLC, Ms. Gedinsky has become one of the most successful young female brokers in the industry, working with some of the city’s most sought-after landlords and tenants. She has recently completed deals with Lowes Home Improvement, Nordstrom, Rent the Runway, Saint Laurent, the Gagosian Gallery, Yigal Azrouel, ASICS, CVS, the Heller Gallery, Aaron Basha, Ferragamo, QVC, House of Brews and Taboon Restaurant while representing SL Green, Atlantic Development, Madison Capital, The Chetrit Group, CB Developers, The Moinian Group and many others.
One of Ms. Gedinsky’s signature projects is her experience with the nearly-completed leasing of 97th through 100th Streets on Columbus and Amsterdam Avenues. As part of the leasing team for 350,000 square feet of retail at Columbus Square, Ms. Gedinsky assisted in negotiating leases with Sephora, Starbucks, Petco, Chipotle, European Wax Center, Whole Foods, Home Goods, Verizon, Modell’s, Duane Reade, Michael’s Arts and Crafts, TJ Maxx, The Mandell School, Solomon Schechter School, Crumbs Bakery, and Chase Manhattan Bank, among other separate transactions.
Ms. Gedinsky is working with a plethora of tenants who require spaces in some of Manhattan’smost sought-after neighborhoods including the likes of Madison Avenue, SoHo, theMeatpacking District and Fifth Avenue, as well as other high profile cities throughout thenation. Her background in Public Relations, Fashion Marketing and Sales gives Ms. Gedinskyinsight into retailers’ day to day operations, as well as a mind for marketing property in the bestinterest of the client. In tending to the unique needs and requirements of each tenant and landlord in her portfolio, Ms. Gedinsky has cultivated a comprehensive understanding of major lease transactions, as well as a unique skill in ground-up construction. In all of her completed transactions over the past five years, not one of the tenants has closed their doors, putting Ms. Gedinsky in a singular class of retail brokers.
